Heart Bracelet

I had a major stocking up trip at Madisons Beads, Taunton yesterday where I found these cute hearts in lovely summery colours. And boy it's still so hot that I can only make one thing before having to cool down. Soon, I will be able to make jewellery wherever I fancy, as I have just bought a really handy portable storage bag with pockets for pliers and compartmentalised boxes.

Powder Rose Bracelet

A simple Swarovski powder rose pearl and crystal bracelet. You really can't beat the finish on a Swarovski pearl, which is probably why I have such a large horde of them.

Net Weave Bracelet

This is something totally new for me: net weave to give this lovely geometrical shape, and in fact you can tease it out so that the effect is more dramatic. I have to confess that the design isn't mine, but inspired by a book by Emma Brennan on Vintage Jewellery although I have tweaked it to suit what I have/haven't got!
The beads (from left to right) are a royal blue lamp bead, Czech firepolish beads in the colour iris, random blue bugles and mauve Swarovski pearls.

A Special 30th Birthday Bracelet

This is definitely one of those that I am going to find it hard to part with. This is for my little sister for her party in August. It incorporates large Swarovski pearls and some Czech firepolish beads as well as a few vintage beads that belonged to my Grandmother.

Memory Wire Bracelet

I finally bought some cutters suitable for cutting memory wire, and so I have made my first memory wire bracelet today with mauve and night blue Swarovski pearls. I think it would be more impressive if I had carried on with a couple more rounds, but it isn't a bad start! And it is so easy. I have ordered some nice curved tubes for another memory wire bracelet that I am making.

Bright Green Necklace/Bracelet set

This bright green stone necklace and bracelet set was once a multi-strand bracelet which I have recycled. Now of course, the dilemma is how much to charge if some of the materials were gifted to me?
I still have a few items left to recycle. There is a cabochon bracelet and a faux pearl & lace necklace. I really fancy doing something totally different and making the cabochon bracelet into a Little Red Riding Hood charm bracelet.
I have also placed an order with my favourite jewellery supplier, Bluestreak beads, and I have got some large asymmetrical ruby red beads on order!
