Girl with a Pearl Earring

Well, pair of earrings, and I'm probably not classed as a girl any more! I'm sure that if these lovely Swarovski pearls were around in Vermeer's time, that these would be the ones he would choose to paint.

I actually made two versions of these - one pair to wear and the other to sell, because it is so tempting to keep everything I make, when what I ultimately want to do is sell! All items to sell are now being put safely in an envelope so they can't possibly stray into my own jewellery box!
